30th Anniversary of CAA
On 7th July 2009 the Child Aid Association will complete the 30 years of service to the underprivileged sick children. 2009 also coincided with the Decade of the Pediatric Oncology unit established by CAA. To celebrate these important land marks Mr. Nadir and Mrs. Sayeeda Leghari held dinner at the Karachi Boat Club on 21st April 2009, where a. number of existing and prospective supporters were invited. President of CAA Prof. Nizam ul Hasan made a presentation about the progress that CAA made from an humble start to the current activities during this period. Mr. Tariq Shafi, Vice President CAA, informed the audience about the phenomenal increase in the number of patients seeking treatment at the Oncology Unit and the satisfactory results of the treatment. Mr. Pervez Iqbal, Patron of CAA, and CEO BBCL, conducted the ceremony.
